CONSULTATIONS: Everybody needs a dental consultation. What many people don't know is that babies develop teeth buds while they were still in their mother's womb. However, they don't “erupt” or come out until they are around five months. As the teeth start showing, the infants may already require some tooth cleaning with the guidance of a pediatric dentist. By the time they reach the age of 6 or 7, their milk or baby teeth will become loose and be replaced by permanent teeth, so the importance of a dentist at this point cannot be stressed enough. Dentist can personally see the development of the permanent teeth even before they come out.
EXAMS: It is important to properly diagnose existing conditions whether symptomatic or not. Oral examinations include a visual and physical examination of the interior and exterior of the oral cavity including, neck, head, and facial area.
CLEANINGS: Oral cavity cleaning includes teeth cleaning which is part of oral hygiene and involves the removal of dental plaque from teeth with the intention of preventing cavities, gingivitis, periodontal disease, and other oral health condition that can only be detected by a professional. Oral cleaning can also include deep cleaning, is a procedure involving removal of dental plaque and calculus and then smoothing, or planing, of the (exposed) surfaces of the roots, removing cementum that is impregnated with calculus, toxins, or microorganisms, the etiologic agents that cause inflammation. This helps to establish a periodontium that is in remission of periodontal disease
X-RAYS: Dental X-rays are facial x-rays with low frequency of radiation used to evaluate hard tissue, soft tissue, ligaments and the periodontium structure for signs of disease process or abnormalities.

LANAP: It is a laser used to treat gum disease with virtually no pain, no cutting, swelling or bleeding. It is revolutionizing today's treatment of periodontal disease. LANAP enables treatment that is just as effective and even more beneficial for the patient in terms of healing times and results. Also, laser periodontal treatment is usually less expensive than comparable treatment with more invasive cut-and-stitch methods.
LAPIP: (Laser Assisted Peri-Implantitis Procedure) Peri-implantitis is similar to periodontitis in natural teeth, however it occurs around a dental implant. It is characterized by the loss of bone surrounding the implant as well as inflammation and gum recession. As with traditional periodontal disease, early diagnosis is key to saving the dental implant and returning the mouth to a complete state of health.

Fluoride treatments, prophylaxis, sealants, and dental cleaning. Fluoride is a naturally occurring element, which helps to harden tooth enamel and make it more resistant to acid exposure and helps protect against cavities. Prophylaxis involves cleaning accumulations of bacteria-rich tartar, and superficial stains from the teeth. Sealants are resin coatings that are applied to deep, inaccessible pits and fissures in teeth so food can’t get lodged in them as easily.
